I have three question? My site crash and I had to reinstall vortex again after a few month of use. My question is: I have members ... Can I copy and past the user folder from crash site and put it in the new one and would that still have my member info in tact?
2nd question? Do I need to make my confiruration.php file unwriteable now? joomla keep asking if I want to that? I did not do that last time I.

1) if you still have a copy of the original database, then yes you can import all your users into the new site
2) I would recommend it, as it improves security of the site. It does not influence a site just crashing however.
