    • Hi to all,

      I have 2 problems related with flash:

      1) I have a flash on my frontpage, and it is repeating on all pages of my web site. Is there a solution to this issue, not using the solution of using FLASH C code? As stated in: www.eyezberg.com/Joomla-CMS/Templates/Joomla-and-Flash.html

      2) That flash is show 2 times (overlapped) on the front page. Is there a solution to this?

      I think this issues are happening to more people, so the answers could be very useful.

      I am using SIMPLIX template.

      As you can see, it appears repeated 2 times, and if you navigate to another page through the menus, it appears again.

    • Ok, I have been able to solve issue # 1, how?

      - Installing RunPHP module, and putting php code to check if the URL is the frontpage (then I send dynamicly the html code to show the flash animation) or not the frontpage. That works, but is there a better (more efficient) way to solve this issue ??

      BUT still don't know how to solve issue #2, that overlapping can still be seen at: edinn.com/dev/

      - By assigning the article which goes to the front page, to the section FAQ (which is not shown on my web page).

      ANYWAY: I would appreciate information of more elegant or efficient ways to solve this 2 issues.

    • I am not quite sure of what you need but here is a few things I think might help.

      Did not see any overlap problems with flash on the site.....But I am checking the site out quite a few hours after you made your posts about it being fixed. :)

      Perhaps you could create a custom module to put your flash code in and assign the module to any position you would like it to appear using the module manager in the backend of joomla.....
      go to site -> Module-> New and create your own module with your flash code pasted in... This will give you a little more control on where the flash appears within your site.

      Theres lots of posts that gives you instructions on how to put the code into a module just make sure you have disabled/ are NOT using the wysiwyg editor when you paste in your code!
