Switching Templates?

Being new I want to make sure I can get as many of my questions answered before I download anything. I am curious to know how possible is it to switch from a RocketTheme templates to another RocketTheme Template and how easy is it? For example, suppose I start up a website with a RocketTheme template that has no capabilities for setting up forums or whatever. So I search for a RocketTheme template that has the capacity to accommodate what I'm needing. How easy is it to change from one RocketTheme template to another?
Here is what I'm working with for future reference:
Windows XP, Joomla!1.5, Amember

- The actual process of switching templates is very easy. Once you have customized your installation your mileage may vary. Since templates have different layouts and module names not everything lines up correctly. At that point it is a matter of reconfiguring your site. Any custom graphics, logos and such, would need to be re-worked as well.
