    HiveMind template for Joomla 2.5 module suffix class is not working

    Posted 10 years 3 months ago
    • Hello,

      I purchase the HiveMind template as a needed upgrade to Joomla 2.5 version.

      I have noticed that module suffix class is not working in J 2.5 in all browsers except Internet Explorer.

      See attached IE-screengrab and highlighted red box; module names appear e.g., “Featured Events” and “Event Calendar”

      They do not appear in Chrome & Firefox web browsers.

      Can you offer support or advice?

    • If this is a site that is online (just installed, dev or live) could you please supply a link in the Public or SECURE part of your reply so we can better diagnose the issue?
      It makes our suggestions more accurate if we see the actual coding of your site.

    • you could try to add

      .sIFR-hasFlash .module-menu h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-color1 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-color2 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-color3 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-color4 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style1 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style1-color1 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style1-color2 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style1-color3 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style1-color4 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style2 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style2-color1 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style2-color2 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style2-color3 h3, .sIFR-hasFlash .module-style2-color4 h3 {
      visibility: visible !important;
      }

      at the end of template.css

      But you should really aviud usinf SIFR at all ... it's based on flash.
      Flash won't work on ios devices and is an overkill to use for fonts anyway these days ...
