Weird Issue with mod_roknewsrotator

    • Hello all:

I have installed this Module on a new site. A weird issue has shown up. For some reason, the "Read More" link is showing up with my content. I checked each Content item and none of them have content below the "Intro Text". This leads me to ask how the Read More link is generated. We do not want to see it. But do not know how to get rid of it.

      :P

    • Which module? Which site?
It's true that the name of this subforum is "General discussion", but I think your request should be a little more detailed. :)

Hmmmm..... I believe my topic indicated the Module: "mod_roknewsrotator". The site is webfuel.ca. The Read More has been renamed "Learn More". It is hard to see as we renamed the background image of the link.

    • Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the title. Did you already set the parameters clicking on RokNewsRotator News in Site Modules? Did you delete the text "Read More" at "Read More Label" parameter?

      Hey NP
I have been through everything. You cannot delete the text completely. If you leave it blank, save the changes, it auto-populates with "Read More". I am thinking that the presence of the Read More link is established by the Static Content. There are 3 Static Content Pages that are pointed to by the Module. I checked each one and none of them had anything after the Intro Text. Hence my question as the where the Read More button is generated.

OK, I will give a deeper look. Which version of Joomla! are you using?
V 1.0.13. It's very odd. I can usually get to the bottom things like this.

Joomla! static contents don't show at all the "read more" text block option, only the intro.
