Maybe for and experienced user, 'RokZoom Enabled' means 'Great, this'll take me five minutes!'

The same goes for making a video page, the possibility of using RokMediaScroller and linking to site content instead of feeds, or having the video appear in 'media box' style window.
My wish: Mods? Components? that can be worked with from the Control Panel level.

I know where you are coming but your examples are from JoomlaWorks, JoomlaWorks is a dedicated extensions provider, whereas we provide templates as our main priority. The extensions themselves are subsidiary and I wouldn't anticipate that they could match their counterparts who have been developed to a much greater degree.
You don't have to use our extensions or even JoomlaWorks, there are so many available which will suit your needs better
