    • Hi everyone...
I am new at Joomla and everything around it, but i am not looking for tech support today ;)
      Here's my question:

I want my users to be able to have their own image galleries. Which gallery extension will let my users upload their own photos on my site from the front end for other people to see ?

      Gallery 2 ?
      RSGallery 2 ?
      Zoom ?
Any other i am missing ?

Thx a lot for your help!

Is the bridge for Coppermine hard to install in Joomla 1.5 ? And is there any plugin available to integrate it in CB ?

      Thx again!

    • I'm using Gallery2 on 3 Community-Sites now for 2+ years and am highly satisfied with it. It's extremely feature-rich and flexible and it will let your users create own albums (you can define, where - i.E. make a "User-Gallery" in the Root and have a Folder in this Gallery created for each user automatically).

    • There is a gallery called PonyGalleryML which is very good with lots of features. It is based on the old PonyGallery but believe my the difference is like Windows 3.1 and Windows Vista ;D

The development is done by a German team so the main discussions are in German but the developers are very, very helpful. Please find more information here http://joomgallery.net/

Chris S: Thx for the info. I have been looking at Gallery 2 for a bit. Is the bridge easy to install in joomla 1.5 and is there a plugin for CB ?

Roland Fisher: I checked out their site and downloaded the zip file. Do i need a bridge for PonyML ? Thx for the help guys.

No, it's native. They also have all kind of languages, SEF support and nice modules.
