      Another vote for JomComment.

Add me to the Jom Comment Pro list; I use it along with MyBlog, but the MyBlog modules run in legacy for J1.5...so assuming the 'top comment' and the other module that comes with Jom Comment also requires legacy.

...but the core Jom Comment runs perfectly under native J1.5.

I think they will having another 50% sale in the not-too-distant future. If you ask them about it, I am sure they'll take care of you. :)

    • Just bought Jom Comment yesterday and although their templates suck, the software simply works! So, count my vote ,)

    • thanks for the input guys.....i'm currently trying out yvcomment.
its free and after a few install issues (that seem to be joomla related vs the component) i've got it working and have begun to style it a little - its not bad so far.

if yvcomment doesnt pan out i'll keep jomcomment in mind - although i don't like the idea of paying for too many addons to (free) open source scripts.

    • yvcomment was the only one I didn't try before deciding on Jom Comment.

Let us know how it works out for you and perhaps post a link of it in action? Perhaps I'll take it for a test drive on a local install.

seems to be working allright....i threw it up on a testsite, edited 1 of the included css files to blend it a little better...
installing it throws up a bunch of errors regarding language files but the author says (and it seems to hold true) that those don't effect the functioning.

using the wysiwyg for comments has been somewhat trying but I've moved on to another test site for now so I havent really tried to troubleshoot that aspect.

I'll pm u an address to check it out.
