Is there someone out there running it? I have some questions about the functionality, and would like to see it in action. I'm currently building a site that requires a downloads section. I need to have unlimited Categories and Subcategories. A search bot is a must. I don't need user ability to add files though, admin only is fine.
I'm patiently waiting for the re-release of rockdownload. I'm hoping it comes soon. If not then the site I'm doing now will get DocMan.

- it's not released yet, and it's still in development, although it's getting pretty close now.

it doesn't use subcategories per say, it uses folders, just like the filesystem, so you can create as many subfolders as you like.
Yes, you can ftp, even create folders in ftp, and the files and folders are automatically picked up. You just need to publish them.
