Show Latest Article... NOT in "list" format

Hello!
Can someone tell me how to have (with either a module, menu, etc...) the most recent article from a particular section shown. I can have it in a "list" format, but I want the whole article to be displayed (like "blog" format)....
How can I get a module (or menu) which shows: the ENTIRE (not a list), MOST RECENT article from the section named "World"... that's it... no more, no less??
Please give detailed instructions.

- try doing this with the Frontpage component. Create a menu link to the frontpage, then set it so it only shows 1 article. (Setting done in the menu manager)
