If you go to that link, click on "Free Download" - you get a pop - up and the background fades - I guess I just need a code example of how to set this up in Joomla. Also, when you click anywhere off of the popup, it closes and the window becomes un-faded - kinda nifty...
You guys are a bright bunch, so I was wondering if there was a general way to do this, or could at least point me to a place to get started. I'm using template Replicant.

Cool, I will check it out - never thought of using it for anything other than images - however, how can I fade the background? Also, what if I wanted to remove "Close" and just simply have the user click off of the pop-up to go back to the page? I know there is code to do that somewhere, just gotta look...
Anyway, I was looking in my replicant index.php file for the ability to enable rokzoom, but I couldn't find it in there - In reference to another post that said to look for:

Perhaps I should better clarify what I'm needing..
Aside from adding my own DIV and functions for links, I want to be able to have someone click a link, and a new window pops up with another web page (which will be a customer check out page). Now, with rokzoom, you can specify an image, but what about opening just a web link?
I guess my hold up is how to do this easily within a module, component, etc.. or am I going to have to code it in myself to get what I want? If it looks like Rokzoom will provide the functionality for what I'm asking, then I will continue to focus on that.

Wow, that seems perfect.
i know you don't support this, and I won't blame you if you can't help but, I will at least throw it out there in the hopes it will may be a quick answer.
Yea, I'm a noob. But when I install the Module and then published it. It gives the option to select the "mootools" library, which is there by default. Just to test, I created a New Article, so I was going to use an "href" and then make sure the shadowbox was loaded for the link - is there a specific call I need to make sure it uses Shadowbox when I click on the link?
I found this code on the Ninjoomla forum, but that's about it - it reference an image:
<a href="/images/myimage.jpg" rel="shadowbox">My Image</a>
in the HTML of the GUI when creating the article. I set it up on a menu item, published it - but then the link just simply opened the web site without the popup. When I went back to the article, my "rel=shadowbox" was gone.
So, if I'm referencing a link, the module is installed and published - where can I ensure that shadowbox is enabled?
This is really the last piece of the puzzle..
Thanks
Hope that helps. If after you sort that and are able to publish the article without the rel=shadowbox being stripped out and STILL have issues, post on the Ninjoomla forums so Richie(the developer) can have a look at it.
