    • Good day,

we using one of your templates "replicant" J15,and are having problems with it. Our site is in Chinese Traditional. it only turn out "??????"

To see if it was an encoding issue, I manually set the meta tag to utf8 rather than pulling it from php handler. the whole database disconnected.

Any insight you have onthis would be very helpful.

      Thanks,

      isaac ???

    • Could you describe the install process?

      For example
      A) English install of J1.5, added the template after install
      B) English install of J1.5 with rocket launcher
      C) Chinese install of J1.5, added the template after, etc.

In any case, if it’s an English install, have you added the Chinese Traditional language pack files for the Front / Back End?

      Isaac, you wrote this:

      I really couldn’t understand… could you clarify?

      Phua, some question for you:

How is the text being input
      A) Typed directly into Joomla, looks fine on the back end, doesn’t look right on the front end.
      B) Cut and pasted from another application, looks fine on the back end, doesn’t look right on the front end. If so what application are you copying and pasting from?
      C) Doesn’t look right no matter where you type.

IMPORTANT>>> When you enter on the back end, are you using a WYSIWYG editor or not? If so have you tried to click on HTML and enter text that way, or have you tried shutting off your editor?

And last but not least..... what's the character encoding set to on your browser(s)?
