New article/section/category URL?

I apologize for all of the questions...
Making this real basic, I have created a Section, a Category, and an Article. I want to link to this from a text link, not from a menu link.
How can I find the URL of the article to link to it? Once I've created it, where is it? Thanks for all of the help, but I am still stumped with many aspects of content creation, and I have to demonstrate this to a client next week...

You could switch your WYSIWYG editor to JCE.
It has a cool feature that allows you to browse to the Article step by step in the editor. - Thanks,
