Is there a way to speed of joomla. My site pages load very slow. I love the templates, but the performance is terrible. I saw the page cache component, but there is no support for Joomla 1.5.

Joomla 1.5 has a pretty powerful internal caching mechanism (I suggest looking into that).Source
I've implemented a lot of the changes I wanted to do into 1.6, so 1.6's core cache will ship MUCH better than 1.5 or 1.0 ever could have been!!!

- Thanks Yves, I think it's the browser being used. Internet Explorer 7 seems to stall, but Firefox loads pretty fast.
