Global Configuration : Cache Settings

    • Learned an important lesson today regarding the "Global Configuration : Cache Settings" option. If you turn this option "on", your menus won't work anymore. What I mean is, once I enabled this option, my drop down secondaries no longer worked, and the "selected state" of the menu would stay enabled even though I've already left that menu and selected another. Don't know what value this setting would have so I suggest leaving it off completely. Boy did that put me in a tizzy for a while!

    • Do you have a link to the site? Unless you added the dropdown options/values AFTER you turned on the cache, I can't see this impacting any menus or fields...and a ctrl+F5 would shown any options added after you flicked the proverbial switch anyway....strange.

    • I have the same problem.
      The site address is ,
      uthatworks.org/uic/

you willl be able to see that the menus don't highlight properly even when we move away from that option. I have not been able to figure out the reason why this is the case. I have the site hosted on godaddy.com. Any template that I use from rocket theme is having this problem. Do let me know in case you need any additional information regarding this problem.
