My who's Online module has been showing big numbers today --- big for me anyway. Once it said there were 56 users online. I've never had more than 3 online simultaneously before!
But I don't know where the traffic is coming from -- nor how it is tallied.
I have added a new flash section to my site this week that has created the increase. But I only sent a announcement link to about a dozen people...
The joomla site is not at root of my site.... (it is at mysite.com/joomla)
MY question is:
The counter couldn't be tallying up people on mysite.com - outside of the joomla installation, could it?
If not then I would expect that I'm getting way more hits to the flash page
it has an optional link that leads into the joomla site...
I'm thinking it can't be true... 56 simultaneous visitors blows me away... if it is not counting all visitors including outside of joomla, then I probably had much more than 56
Maybe tomorrows stat report will give me some clue where this traffic came from...
