SOLVED Right Column Cut off in IE7

I am on hyperion, J1.58 (legacy on)
I've this very strange issue with IE7 where the rightcol modules get cut-off if the main content area is shorter than the right modules. That is : maximum height of the rightcol follows the current height of the content area.
This ONLY happens in IE7.
Weird thing is that it's working fine (all right modules gets loaded) in IE6 as well as these browsers I tested - FF3, Opera, Flock, Chrome.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I've been at it for the last 2 hrs but couldn't figure out a thing

SOLVED
I recently changed the menustyle of a mainmenu at the right position to a 'List'. Changing it back to "Legacy - Vertical" removed the problem.
