(z-index) Slideshow overlaps Menu in (IE8 only)

Having trouble fixing a stacking z-index issue regarding the main menu navigation dropdowns and the rok_slideshow on the homepage of www.doclib.net
Appears no matter what I try, the slideshow always overlaps the dropdowns.
This problem only happens in Internet Explorer 8 as far as I've noticed.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction please?
