This is basically just the template, no add ons yet except the template extensions for menu + nav.

I always enjoy looking through this forum to see how designers have adapted the templates; hopefully mine will also provide ideas to someone.

I plan to add a 'playground' area, with demos of JEvents and some other components.

    • Darn, my rather cute, customized error page 'disappeared' when I moved the site to the root folder ... not sure why ... will have to fix this. I loved that RT included this w/ the template, now to get it working again!

update ... found the cause ... user error! :D

    • Nice although I would create contact form so people can get to you right from the web site

    • Thanks, Igor. I think you are right. Even if they call or email me directly instead, still I should show an attractive contact form.

I've noticed that with the smartphones, folks will often just click on the phone number on the web page (or get frustrated if they cannot), so now I use text for all phone numbers (vs. image) on my web sites whenever possible.

      I appreciate your feedback. Vicky

    • Great idea for making the Phone numbers text based, actually never considered that.

I can find a easy way to contact you regarding your services on almost every page of your web site. (It puzzles me that a lot of compainies make you search for contact information) Nice design and use of color.

You also seem to have a talent for copywriting. Great job! :)

    • Thanks for the feedback, JeremyS. I like using istockphoto.com for affordable, 'legal' graphics. I think I will improve the portfolio page by adding maybe 2 case studies at the top of this page, showing how we helped the client improve their business, maybe w a calendar (JEvents), paypal payments, or branding their facebook and youtube accounts to match their web site. I know the long list of links is boring, but it does let folks look at my work.

I've also noticed that dropdown menus don't work on all tablets ... ran into this w. www.aahirs.com , so now I make sure viewers can always get to all pages in case they never see the dropdowns.

Anyway, seems like the learning never stops!
