MissionControl 2.1 - Site Stats module default published?

Hello All,
The new MissionControl 2.1 installs the Site Stats module in the left position with it's initial setting as published. I had some issues turning this off on one site, didn't want to remove its self, wound up having to delete the module but that looks like an anomaly.
The module shouldn't be published by default however right?

- hm.. i'll have to check that, but just unpublishing it via the module manager should remove it.

Yeah it must have been just something peculiar on that one site, luckily my personal site. I've updated on client sites and you can just unpublish from the Module manager.
But that module shouldn't be defaulting to "published" still correct?
