    • You will need some coding experience to convert temlates on your own. But to make it easy for you i can tell this is a possible workaround.

Check the conversation between Joomla -> Drupal on a already exiting theme such as MetaMorph.
and then you get the theme you like on Joomla and try to rebuild it in Drupal way. Since you will see the similar and differences in the first set. And it may take you 1-3 weeks.

But in the end, it will help you.

    • Hi Jo,
Yeah,i've been roaming in Drupal forums, and i see that this is a bit complex, specially in metamorph case,as the design is bound to rock content rotator(i'm not sure). It would be very nice to have a reply from rocket theme, telling me if they will convert metamorph and if it's possible...I can be bothered to go trough this process,it will be painfull...Much more worthy for Rocket Theme to do it,as once it's done, they will sell thousands of copies...Please Andy, convert those themes! :D

I think they have for example Joomla 1.6 in sight currently. And they taking care of the themes after all. For example you see that phpbb themes is about 1 month after Joomla.
And wordpress is their third target where those are 7-8 months after.
And after wordpress you got drupal.

So it's just check how their current progress is. And you can easy calculate how long time it will be.
They doing everything in a correct order.

Otherwise i think you must hire a developer that can do it for you.
And also remember, they doesn't sell for each copy/download. They just sell memberships so it wouldn't be any change in sales directly because of porting a theme. They put priority on the most attractive things, in this case Joomla, second phpBB and third Wordpress. You see.

    • Well,
I'm a satisfied Rocket Theme Customer/member for a while now,and i do understand how things go here. When i say "sell a lot of copies",i know what they sell is actually subscriptions to the forums. Thus, one more reason to convert them quickly,as if they sell a template to someone, tell will make a cash "una tantum" and if they sell a "subscription",it will be almost cash "forever".I mean forever,in a sense that happy customers like me,will "forever" want their template updated,or maybe like me,a change of platform. The only point here is that Andy would have to hire some especialized Staff,to support the product here on the Forums.
So you make the numbers,if i sell 50 subscriptions, that would probably generate x money and you have to spend x in the support. Not to mention that after the first month,a customer never will require much support,it's more like a"set up" support.
But,i do respect Andy,if things are this way is for a reason.
      Cya! :P

That's not true because after a while the customers wants customizations and stuff like that. And X plugin must be compatible with Y and Z plugins... I think you get the idea.

Btw, the Drupal themes is being converted to D7 aswell so there's lots to do :)
