Padding For A List

    • So, I have a module set up with an image on the left and an unordered list on the right. Unfortunately, the bullets are overlapping the image. So, I tried getting a CSS class set up to give some extra padding. Unfortunately, I have not got the desired result. I put the class in the typography file and then tried the template css file. I also tried setting up the class for various aspects like p and ul. However, I get really wonky results. I am no CSS expert so this is kind of new for me.

What file would I put this class in? Do I even want to use a CSS class? To I apply it to just a certain element or just do the .className? What element should I apply the class to?

Hopefully, it is understandable to what I am trying to do and what I did that failed.

    • Basic support guidelines suggest posting in the proper forum along with a link to your site, and annotated screen shots if applicable.

Without a link, and with so many templates, it's hard to answer a question based on generalities. So actually, I don't know if I can answer your question. But posting in the proper forum with the proper details would be a great start in getting assistance.

    • This forum seemed to be the most proper since it isn't really specific to a particular template. Just was looking for some general advice on utilizing custom css in modules.

But, I have figured it out. Apparently my CSS was working fine. It was the image that seemed to be causing the problems.
