    • Hello

      I think this can be done as I saw a sample just before on another Joomla site. all this sites view source shows is approx 8 lines of info

      How do you go about hiding the information on the "View source" option in a web browser ?

    • there are extensions on JED for doing 'codelock' or disabling right click. The only problem is that anyone who would know what to do with that code probably know how to view their 'temporary internet files to see the translated file (of encrypted page source) or use ctrl-U to view source (for pages with right-click disabled)

    • No, there are no benefits in hiding stuff like that. It is probably bad for speed and SEO.

      Even if you disable right-click via JavaScript you can still do CTRL-U (in Windows) or view the source in the temp files as Chris' already mentioned.
