Sorry to post this here, but Joomla Forums is moving slowly and I have a customer doing a site walk through in the morning. Someone care to offer some advice?
My host recently made some changes which modified the permissions on ALL my folders and files. It has affected basic aspects of some of my sites and each day I expect to find something else pop up.
My question is, all my permissions have been set to 755. Which files and folders must I leave at 755? This permission setting is giving me random error messages such as:
Error: The directory to store session data is not writable. Please correct this or contact your provider.
I know I can easily change the permissions on the whole site, but I also know that it isn't the best option.
