I use wp instead of joomla .. my client wants to use the Infuse theme ... in my experience in the past MooTools conflicts with jQuery terminally ... my question is this ... is the menu system on wpinfuse tied to moo tools? will it work if i remove mootools ?
thats about the only feature im worried about the others i an easily recreate with jQuery replacements ...
thoughts? ideas? anyone?

A while ago this was true and it was a headache in many circumstances. With the newer versions of MooTools being used and also jQuery using "no-conflict" mode, I've been hard pressed to find issues between the two.
That's not saying that you won't have issues, but in the case that you do, there are more options for a solution to make them play nice together. I'd say it's worth a try and testing it at least.
