- Can one have both a Joomla Template & phpBB Template running on their server, linking from one to the other and back again, or does one require 2 domains, or can phpBB be built into the rockettheme templates as say a link so it remains un the same domain?

You can install phpBB onto the same site by creating a subdomain, example yoursite.com/forum - the forum would reside under 'forum' and your site under yoursite.com and you can have them linking to each other yes, by merely linking to them or you could use something like RokBridge to integrate them.
