Hi,
I have a client that wants to upload all his excel files into a database and then make the data searchable by his staff. The excel file will have about 10 columns of data and there will be about 500k records when all said and done.
Does anyone know of an extension that can do this?

You can do this easily with Fabrik (
www.fabrikar.com
).
I think I saw some new Excel-related component in the JED not too long ago; I assume you checked the JED? But Fabrik would be my first choice.
