Your Guide to Using Parallax
The Parallax atom introduces a simple and effective means of introducing parallax to your site. It is made available as an atom, and can be easily configured.
The first configuration area for the Parallax atom enables you to create one or more parallax items for your site. Each item has its own set of configuration options for maximum versatility.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Section | Enter the section for which you want to display parallax. In our demo, we used page-surround to give the background a parallax effect on scroll. |
| Type | Choose whether the section's effect should be applied as background or foreground. |
| Ratio | Select the movement speed of the parallax effect. |
| Direction | Choose whether the effect should be vertical or horizontal. |
