- Another vote here too. I think as the bridges become more stable and easy to install this will be a hot item.

With the new SMF 1.1 RC 2 and Orstio's SMF Bridge 3.20 the Joomla!/SMF integration is very easy. No need to change anything on SMF's side, just add few lines of code to your template and install the bridge component.
No doubt there's a need for custom SMF templates as well.
