if you are unsure on where to find out about your php version, here are some pointers:
Joomla
in your joomla admin go to > help > system info...
Drupal
in your drupal go to admin > reports > status report...
Wordpress
you can use the following plugin:
wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
or use the method described by andy below:
