hi there,
a joomla 1.5 template is not compatible with joomla 1.7/2.5.
mediamogul has been converted to j1.7 and had a few rounds of testing and bug fixing.
it's pretty solid in j1.7, but we want to ensure compatibility with j2.5, therefore we will have to do more testing. if all goes well, mediamogul as well as some others of the older templates will get released for j2.5 in the next 2 to 4 weeks.

Kat - appeciate the update on the older templates.
Quick question - are they all going to be converted to become Gantry based ?

no, none of the pre-gantry based templates is planned to be rebuilt on gantry.
they are being updated for j2.5 but without gantry functionality.
