This may not be the place to ask, but I'm going to count on you to move it elsewhere if appropriate. As usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short on this topic. LOL!
Do you need a degree? How broad a scope must you have to apply for a job like that?
I've spent several years learning Joomla and now, the last (almost) two years learning all the templates at RT. The knowledge I've gained is tremendous. I feel like I've been going to college ever since I joined RT. The cost of membership for the templates alone is awesome, but the education has been worth it's weight in gold and I didn't have to leave home to get it!
Some days I feel I'd have something of value to offer "the Team" and others I feel like a complete neophyte.

well I know it doesnt count, Carol:
But I would give you my vote.
It's not only about skills, contagious enthusiasm and willing to learn ... certainly something you have (and I count it in tons in your case ) ... is important I guess :cheesy:

This is one reason why the RT community is as good as it is.
All members can help other members in this environment. As a added plus RT mods don't talk down to members as we all have been on the member side of support at some point in our lives. Members help as much as the RT mods so keep on posting.

Thank you both for your kind words of encouragement.
I read both of your posts frequently and I have learned a great deal from you both. In fact, I kinda' feel like a RocketTheme Groupie! LOL!
My only daughter is contemplating marriage, and at least, she will be attending college in another area soon. I will have a great deal of time on my hands. I've been a stay-at-home Mom since she was born, but I've also managed to have a couple of businesses on the side.
I'd now like to see if I could become "productive" again for my hubby, who has been working his bazoonga off for us. I want to contribute to our income and take some of the pressure off him FOR A CHANGE. I just haven't figured out which way I want to go yet. Chalk it off to female indecision, I guess.
Anyway, I feel very comfortable here, more so than any other forum or "club" I've belonged to in many years on the internet. I'd like to feel like I help others. For that reason, your words come most humbly accepted with gratitude.

Hi Kat,
Bear me in mind for the next wave of recruitment please. Currently work from home and been using RT templates for a few years now. :cheesy:
