    • I have 2 joomla sites where the contact form won't work. I think I've isolated the problem but I'm at a loss on how to fix it. All my 30 plus sites work correctly. The only difference on the 2 problem sites is that thier domains are setup to use a 3rd party exchange server, so the normal domain name: mail.mydomain.com doesn't work for email. I tried putting in: mail.ihostexchange.net, but that didn't work either. I'm not sure if this can even work. Anyone have any experience in this area? I also tried php and sendmail with no luck. It is not in the normal server settings, those I've done a hundred times and it only fails on the 2 sites with offsite exchange. Any ideas would be appreciated.
      thanks,

      scot.

    • Hi Scott,
I am not sure what's going on with your 2 sites e-mail. Have you tried Google or maybe your webhost to try and see if this has happened to others?

    • the problem is that you have to add an a-record to the host account in order for the exchange email to work. I think this is what's messing up joomla. bluehost won't help with joomla and the exchange host says it's a hosting issue. I can't find anything on goolge since not many people use a setup like this.
