  • trouble with content editor for media

    • Hi:

      I've tried both JCE editor and Tiny mce editor and can't get the media option to work on this site.... I've used these editor's before and a film clip icon shows up in the content editor so that I can add a video, for example. What I want to add is the following code: bigcontact.com/feed-player/13878_15215/r:0;t:2000 so that a player will come up. I've done this on other sites and it's worked fine, but for some reason the little film clippy thing is not showing up on this site: www.jimfidler.com/roar/test . Any suggestions?

    • You're right Lillian,

      That icon has disappeared in both TinyMCE and JCE.

      (I don't know when, or at what version of Joomla or JEC they were removed.)

      There may be a plugin for JCE to add videos, you could use a 3rd party component, or add the code manually.
