Affinity configuration questions

Hi all,
Last spring I wanted to create an alumni website for me and my classmates, so I joint the Joomla and phpBB3 clubs and downloaded some theme's in order to test them. Unfortunately I never got the time to create and test the website.
Luckily (for me :cheesy: ) I've got vacation now and therefore lots of time. So I got a domain, installed Joomla and a phpBB3 forum and configured the Jfusion bridge between them. After that I installed on both the Affinity theme and all the extensions found here within Joomla.
Now when I look at the demo page of Affinity and then look at my home page, it looks and feels different. For example:
- I've got no fancy image slider on the frontpage;
- The login function does not work like on the demo;
- I cant configure my phpBB3 forum so it fits insite the Joomla website;
- etc.
To be completely honest, I know little about websites and how to configure them. I'm not afraid of learning stuff so if I need to dig somewhat deeper into Joomla I will but if someone for now would give me a helping hand I would appreciate it very much.

Nobody here who can/wants help me?
Also I got a redeclare issue when trying to framelessly fit the phpBB3 forum in my Joomla installation using this theme.
Does anybody here knows how to solve this issue?Fatal error: Cannot redeclare rok_isie() (previously declared in /var/www/vhosts/particuliereonderzoeksfaal.nl/httpdocs/forum/cache/tpl_affinity_.........rokbb3.php.php:3) in /var/www/vhosts/particuliereonderzoeksfaal.nl/httpdocs/templates/rt_affinity_j15/rt_utils.php on line 147

3. we do not use jfusion, but rokbridge and roknavmenu exporter.
