I just looked in my PHP info > Apache Environment Section and it shows old info:
SERVER_ADDR xx.xx.xx.xx <- OLD IP address
DOCUMENT_ROOT /home2/xxxxx/public_html <- OLD Path
SCRIPT_FILENAME /home2/xxxxx/public_html/administrator/index.php <-OLD Path
I did a full server migrate so different than the normal Akeeba.
What files to manually edit to change these variables showing in Apache Environment:
SERVER_ADDR xx.xx.xx.xx <- OLD IP address
DOCUMENT_ROOT /home2/xxxxx/public_html <- OLD Path
SCRIPT_FILENAME /home2/xxxxx/public_html/administrator/index.php <-OLD Path

Akeeba back ups the entire site and the database and creates an installer which functions the same a stock Joomla install or a RL install, I don't know how that differes from what you have done.
When you run the installer, it automatically changes all the paths, so nothing has to be edited manually.
In the 'old days' moving site was a bit easier, but now it's become a bit more complex.
We have many users that try to move site manually and get tons of errors.
Rather than dig into all the files and edit each individually, we suggest using Akeeba.
Doing so, members have a 100% success rate moving their sites.
From start to finish, it should take less than 30 minutes vs. trying to figure out which files to edit to get up and running.
I think I found it...the client did not want to point name servers to mine. So I was only given a-name access to his domain for this account...so he needs to update his a-name info (IP) to match my new server. That is why I think I am pulling old info since he controls the domain. A theory anyways.
