    • Hi,

I've got the pancea rocketlauncher uploaded by ftp and ready to go..
To start the joomla install I go here: www.valuephotography.com/ValuePhotography

The Joomla Web Installer page appears.. but clicking 'Next' does nothing, it just refreshes the page.

Note: This is my 2nd attempt. In my first attempt with PHP4 joomla installed correctly and the template installed correctly. However I was getting php errors when trying to view my website. The forums here mentioned that Pancea needs PHP5.2 or higher to work. So I decided to change my php configuration through cpanel to use PHP5 and start with a fresh new install.

In doing so.. Im stuck at the first step where I cant even click 'next' on the joomla install. Please help.. :(

      Thank you,
      Mandar.

    • I'm getting 'Database Error: Unable to connect to the database:Could not connect to MySQL'

Have you deleted the install again?
    • Thanks,

    • Thankyou for looking at my issue JEM.

I've uploaded rocketlauncher to a new directory. You won't get the DB error now.
But i'm still getting the loop on step one.. clicking next just refreshes the page. Is there any way to find out what the error is?

Here is the link from where I want to perform the install:

    • A quick search for 'Joomla install stuck on screen 1' points to file error permissions.

I can't give you an exact cause or solution but what I can suggest is deleting all the files in that directory, uploading the zipped RL package to your server and extracting through the host's CP to that directory.

If the problem persists, you may have to ask your host for assistance.
