    • Hi. Just subsrcibed to RT after a world of pain using yoothemes on an intranet. Everything installed ok but when I click on an RT template to edit it I get a plain white screen and it just hangs?
      Any ideas?

    • Hi. I followed the link and none of that worked. Basically I have full bundle installed, Joomla works fine, all folders are set 777 (not ideal but it does confirm if its a rights issue)
The site loads up, all the sample data works fine but when I got to the template manager and click the name of the template I get a white scree, no text or anything as indicated on the above link, just a white screen

      Regards
      Shaun

P.S. I cant link the site or ftp as it is on an intranet server that is locked down

    • I set up error reports and now I get the following error message when i click the template

Fatal error: Class 'DOMDocument' not found in /var/www/html/components/com_gantry/admin/phpQuery.php on line 255

this is instead of the white screen I was getting

      Regards

    • Hi. It is all fixed, I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled....you get the picture and still the same.
With errors switched on I kept get the error I posted above. After several hours getting nowhere I contacted Storm IT Solutions who remote logged in and fixed it in 20 minutes. It was a php install error, or lack of certain elements that were required.
The guy I spoke to was Alan if I remember correctly and he was awesome. Thanks to you if you ever come on these forums and see this.

      This is their contact website
      www.stormitsolutions.com/

After he sorted the missing php files and restarted the server everything worked perfectly.

      Regards

Go to your backend and check Admin -> Help -> System Info -> PHP Settings -> that DOM is enabled.
