Hi, Im new and I searched the forums and found only 1 post with people with the same problem, but there was no solution, plus I have suPHP installed. So maybe someone can help me out, but I get this error when I click on manage the Omnicron template:
Warning: file_put_contents(/home/mysite/public_html/templates/rt_omnicron_j15/custom/gantry_version) [function.file-put-contents]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/mysite/public_html/components/com_gantry/core/gantryini.class.php on line 124
I have tried making permissions to that file 777, and to all the directory its referring to, but doesn't make a change. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Is your site an development site or production.
If it's development, change all files in joomla to 777.

It is in development, I even have the site password protected. Why does this matter? I changed all the files joomla asked me to change, everything works fine, changes made under the admin take effect, I just dont know why its giving that error

If changing permissions doesn't work you should contact your webhost.
/home/mysite/public_html/components/com_gantry/core/ Normally this should be 755 but try 757
/home/mysite/public_html/components/com_gantry/core/gantryini.class.php Normally this should be 644 but try 646 - Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

What do you mean byIf changing permissions doesn't work you should contact your webhost.
I am my webhost, its my server. The full story is, I downloaded the "Omnicron RocketLauncher" which is the full package, template, extensions, AND JOOMLA. When I would click on template manager then on the omnicron template It wouldnt even let me see the template and give me this huge errorWarning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /public_html/components/com_gantry/core/utilities/cache/fileCacheDriver.class.php on line 215
I searched the forums and found out that my directories didnt have the correct permission so I went to "joomla administrator> help > system info > directory permissions" and everything was "unwritable" so I made them all writable which fixed that error and I was able to see my template and modify it. But for some reason it still left the wholeI have tried doing the 646 and 757 but it doesnt change anything. I know its a permission issue, but what folder or file is there left that I havent given the correct permissions to. Please help1. 2 days? It's less than 24 hours that you sent it to me (my timezone) :cheesy:
The reason it says outbox (#) is because the reciever haven't read it yet. It's the way phpBB3 works.

Ohh, sorry, didnt mean it like that. I just have PMed a few people and no ones responded back, thought there was an issue with the phpbb3, I guess no one wants to talk to me
