Affinity with PHP 5.3.3 gives error

  • Affinity with PHP 5.3.3 gives error

    • Hi,

I have been using affinity template with my joomla website so far.
Once my host company installed php 5.3.3 version to the computer where my website is being hosted, my website started to give errors on every page related to Affinity theme.
I was using Joomla 1.5.13 and have just upgraded it to 1.5.22 version.(This was an advise from my host company)
      Nothing has changed.

      My website is http://www.marathonschool.com .
Every error on the pages points at a row that contains "call_user_func" parameter.

How can I solve this problem ?

    • Can you ask your host to set your PHP back down to 5.2.x through a configuration file.
Just Google "Joomla PHP-5.3" and you can see all the issues :(

    • Will Affinity template ever be updated? I use RT_Joomla and Moodle together on many sites. moodle 2.0 and up only works with php 5.3. Just checkin.

The issue is not only with us but the Joomla core although "they" say it's totally compatible (not )
Currently Joomla is up to v1.5.25 and with our Gantry and extensions are vetted to be compatible with the latest popular PHP versions.
So long as your running the latest of everything I shouldn't see this as a problem as it might have been a year ago.
