    • Hi.
      I cannot login anymore in my backend. (Local joomla 1.5 using xampp)
      Trying to make "session lifetime" longer I typed a lot of "9"s in the corresponding field..
      But joomla seems to not accept this 9999999999 value. Instead, the session lifetime seems to be shortened to infinitely short duration, so now I get the next "session time expired" screen instantly after logging in.
      So I can not get to see my backend.
      Please help: Is there some file I can hack in order to override this "security" nonsense and get back to my backend?

    • Check confiquration.php in the Joomla root:

      var $lifetime = '60'; <- this is what i use
