index.php and index.php?option=com_content are different?
Posted 14 years 1 month ago
Good morning
I discovered that ./index.php and ./index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage are different. This is the first time that I note this.
Is this normal or what?
Thank you

yes ...
the default menu item (index.php) doesnt have to be linked to the so called "frontpage" view of the com_content component. You can make every menu item the default homepage. Could be the blog view or a contact.form for example.

Thank you Henning.
Unfortunately it is not clear for me, sorry...
How can I have ./index.php and ./index.php?option=com_content&view=frontpage point to the same location?
Default homepage means ./index.php?
