Rockstories

Posted 14 years 4 weeks ago
• Dear all, Luana here from Italy. I have a question for you: some articles on my magazine riocarnivalfanzine.com builded on Hybrid are not readable on IE and I need to use Rockstories to make the layout friendly. Unfortunately, after install the extentions and trying to install "sample data" Joomla said there was an error:

ERROR: You must be logged into your site (front-end) as Administrator or Super-Administrator, in order to import data.

I'm logged in as Administrator, so I don't uunderstand wich problems it may referred to. can you help me? thank you :D

• Yes, it means you have to also Login to your Front End with your Admin credentials, then you can install the Sample Data.
To make your images behave, turn OFF Smartload -> Admin -> Extensions -> Template Manager -> rt__j15 -> Features -> Smartload

Also you must have used Word to paste your content in for "La Storia della Fanzine":
<IMG style="BORDER-BOTTOM: black 1px solid; BORDER-LEFT: black 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: black 1px solid; BORDER-RIGHT: black 1px solid" border=0 src="images/stories/magazine/articles/rcf.jpg" $included="null"> La Storia della Fanzine:
<MCE:STYLE><!  st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } --><!--[endif]-->
<MCE:STYLE><!  st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } --><!--[endif]-->

It's all that MSO stuff. Try inserting your content from a plain text editor.

• Yes DanG, the document was uploaded using word by mistake.Thank you for your suggestion, I disabled the Smartload and I tried to sign in using admin pw but it did not worked out. Is there any way to check if the admin credentials are different then the one I used? :cheesy:

In your Admin -> User Manager -> check that for your Admin user Block User is set to NO

• Your Rokstories seems to be working fine, I put it under the Cultura menu item so you could see it. I would recommend you resize the kidrock_6.jpg to better fit the other image sizes.
As for IE you still have that MSO stuff, check your RokTabs articles, I see this:
<MCE:STYLE><!  st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } --><!--[endif]-->
<MCE:STYLE><!  st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } --><!--[endif]-->

I also corrected your log and tmp folders in Global Configuration. They were set as ./logs and ./tmp.
