Mistake with security upgrade ... HELP

  • Mistake with security upgrade ... HELP

Posted 13 years 11 months ago
    • I was trying to upgrade my template from (1.5.20 to 1.5.22). I made a BIG mistake and loaded all the files from a previous upgrade (1.5.11 to 1.5.14). So, I went BACKWARDS with the security versions !!

      Anway, I got

(Fatal Error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 22177992 bytes)

Is there a way I can fix my problem ? Should I just install (1.5.14 to 1.5.22) ?

Any replies and help are certainly appreciated

    • I don't suppose you have an akeeba backup copy of your site? Of course not or you would not have posted this. Well for future reference chalk this one up to a lesson learned.

Since your site was at 1.5.20 you could upload a full stable package of 1.5.20 and extract it but you will then need to delete the "installation" directory. That should overwrite the older stuff.

If that does the trick for your situation then upgrade to 1.5.23

    • I went from 1.5.14 to 1.5.15
      Then to 1.5.15 to 1.5.23

Its working. Yep, Lesson Learned, thanks for your response CD
