    Rotator question

Posted 13 years 10 months ago
    • Hi there!
I'm working with joomla 1.5.22 and template panacea.
I've got the possibility to adjust the image , delay and quantity of slides in my rotator.
When i've set my defaults settings in my template management i see on my first page that i have indeed 3 slides.
When i go to Menu items, to adjust the slides for my second page, i see that in the template manager everything is actived as should but still i only have one picture in my rotator in stead of 3.
      What could be the problem?
      Thanks a lot!

    • Hi there,

You need to have the same number of articles in the selected gategory as you do images in the rotator management.

If you invest in membership here you get access to all of the forums relevant to your membership and this can save a huge amount of time when trying to solve problems :cheesy:

      Hope this helps 8)

    • I don't understand...
so on my defaults settings, where also in the frontend all images are visible.
The catergory and section are undefined. (i didn't chose any)
I uploaded the banners for the rotator in the ftp, so i can select them in my template manager.
What does it have to do with my sections and categories?( which i use for my modules and articles)
Do i have to mahe a section and category for those banners and then save them in my back-end?

    • SO,
      i've got now:
      section: demo content
      category: FT Rotator

so i made an article called rotator1
      I added the image
in template management i selected the section and categorie
      now see what happens:

the orginal rotator remains on homepage
second page: the 'article' rotator 1 was placed above the original rotator, so now it's all messed-up because it's nog the same size.

Could you check: www.eveshop.be/shop to see what i mean?

    • Hi there,

You do not add the image to the article. The article has a set format to display text over the images set up in the rotator backgrounds.

As this is a club template and you do not have membership you will need to get the owner of the template to login and check the Panacea forums for the instructions and tutorials.

There are some instructions and information on the demo site - demo.rockettheme.com/jul10/
