How to overlap modules in Grunge template?

  • How to overlap modules in Grunge template?

    • I'm trying to customize the grunge template. Mainly the top positions. I would like to have rotating header pictures with the logo nicely sitting over the top of the rotator in the correct position. please take a look at this site insitetestsite.com to see what i'm trying to accomplish. First, I tried putting the logo and the rotator in the same top a position which did overlap the 2 components but there was a huge gap (of the blue area) between the top of the rotator and the top of the browser window and the bottom of the rotator and the header positions. So to remove the blue I messed with the template css a little (i'm not very proficient but I get by) to try to remove the space between the top and bottom of the rotator but with no luck at all. So then I published the logo in the top-a position and the rotator in the top-b position and used the gantry settings to try to overlap the two positions. That is what you see now. As you can see it is overlapped a little but the rotator still extends past the actual template width.

Is there anyone that can help me with this? I've spent hourse trying different things. even going to the gantry site to figure out how to create a new module position for the logo that would accomplish is goal.

Like I said I'm not very proficient with editing CSS and have no experience creating it. but i'm trying to learn and getting the hang of it slowly .

I hope I didnt confuse anyone because of improper terminology.
