disable cache??? activate modules?

Hi folks,
I have some probs with the template:
- how can I disable the cache, so that the CSS files are directly adressed (because some other plugins don't work now)
- how can I add the rocket news slider and other stuf? They are installed, they are activated, but they don't appear in the modules?

Well, i don't see "Active user" icon under your name so i guess your membership expired.
