    Kunena Captcha Floating

    Posted 13 years 5 months ago
    • Hi there,
      I was a member of RT but unfortunately it's expired last month.
      I hope I can still get help with my RT Tachyon template for joomla.
      I'm using J1.7, JomSocial, Kunena 1.7.
      I set a captcha in Kunena, but it looks weird, it's floating..

    • I've got exactly the same on the same template. Did you work out how to fix it? For now all could think of was to disable captcha

    • Yes, I have the same problem with my Kunena forum captcha. Does anyone have a fix for this?

      There's a recommendation on the Kunena forum to comment out a line in the RT template (I use Reflex) but I don't know if this change will have a negative effect other modules/plugins:

      Thanks for any advice!

    • Thanks - I followed the fix from Kunena and removed the css line. It does fix the problem for me.

      I also needed to disable the System - RokGZipper plugin and deleted all the css-8272fcde8282 type files that were in the same folder.

      I never had RokGZipper enabled and I actually uninstalled it from my site since I think I read some posts on this forum that it can create problems with the site.

      I commented out the joomla.css line for recaptcha that is mentioned in the Kunena forum post:
      #recaptcha_widget_div {//    position: absolute;//   top: -140px;}

      This worked for me and my recaptcha displays properly under the submission forms. I just don't kow if this change will have a negative effect on other modules/plugins/extensions of my site.
