Problem Downloading/Installing Tachyon 1.7

    • We are trying to download Tachyon for a J1.7 site. When we clicked on what is listed as J1.7 (J1.7 Bundle), the files that downloaded and installed show they are for J1.6.3 bundle.zip. Did I download the wrong files? is there a better place/way to download the 1.7 files?

      Also our J1.7 installation shows
Beez20 and Beez5 templates in place. When we installed the Tachyon template we ended up with a combination of Beez menues and Tachyon menues even though we thought we had disabled those templates. Is there a better to disable these?

      Thanks for your help!!!

    • Yes there was a naming issue with J16 as it worked so poorly and J17 came along so quickly. Anything from Rockettheme that has a 1.6 version on it, is also compatible with 1.7. As we move along you'll see that our non-J15 templates are simply now called "rt-template-name" with no Joomla version numeric.
All templates that are installed by the user are accessible to be used in the Template Manager. If you don't need them and want them gone then go to Extension Manager -> Templates and click the radio box of the template you don't want and click Uninstall.
