trouble with newer templates

I've asked about this before but still haven't been able to solve the issue. I'm not able to use any of the newer templates with Gantry and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've installed, uninstalled and reinstalled gantry 2-3 times now. My most recent effort is to install the new enigma template and I did the bundle installation after uninstalling gantry to make sure I had the latest of everything. I'm using 1.5 and installed the correct version of the template. When I change the default template, all I get is an error message. Today it is this one:
